Plenty of opportunities to play disc golf during the winter.
Winter leagues are underway! The Lincoln Flying Disc Club meets at Tierra Park on Sundays beginning at 1:30pm; $3 to play. In Omaha the Sunday afternoon league begins at 12:30pm and rotates between a few different courses. The Omaha Metro Disc Golf Association also has an indoor putting league. It’s hosted by Nebraska Brewing Company at their tap room in La Vista on Wednesdays at 6:00pm.
The Ice Bowls are coming. A fun way to play disc golf and contribute a few dollars to a local food pantry to help those in need. Currently on the schedule are:
