At the conclusion of the Lancaster Loop League there was discussion about a need for more Sunday only events. The Southeast Nebraska Tournament Preview League fits the bill. It gives people an opportunity to play competitively at a course where tournaments will be coming up. Kind of a practice competition round.
The layout and basket placement played at the league round is not guaranteed to be identical to what the TD will use. It does give players a chance to visit the course, and we are working with TDs to get layout details.
June 11, Beatrice -Nick W is planning a tournament in Beatrice on July 8.
June 18, Malcolm – Chris Hendrix has a Legacy Confidence Class event on June 24.
June 25, Seward – Preview for the Plum Creek Soiree on July 1.
July 2, Ashland Indiscpendence Day – An open week on the league schedule so everyone can have fun in Ashland.
July 9, Waverly – No tournaments planned for Waverly at this time. It’s a fun place to play.
July 16, Mahoney State Park – This is a week before the Cornhusker State Games at Mahoney. A day pass for park entry is $6, or if you will be visiting multiple times this year consider an annual park permit. They are available for about $30 at a sporting store or online.
July 23 – No league so everyone can attend the Cornhusker State Games.
July 30, Lincoln, Tierra Park – In lieu of an upcoming event this will be a special Welcome To The Jungle themed afternoon including jungle style prizes.
August 6, Lincoln, Roper Park West – Preview for Steven Schneider’s tournament on August 12. [Updated: The Aug 12 event has been canceled.]
